Opened 33 years ago at Buffalo’s Broadway Market, Chrusciki Bakery was founded by owner
Ania Duchon’s parents, Tadeusz and Hania Robieniek, who traveled from Poland to live in the United States.
The family later established a second bakery location in Lancaster, New York, at which they also sold pierogi.
Faced with COVID restrictions, they worked hard to open an innovative third location at Buffalo’s Eastern Hills Mall, featuring a refined, “big living room” dining space for Chrusciki Bakery, Simply Pierogi, and Sto Lat Bar.
