Between Berkeley Street and Brunswick Street lie several fantastic restaurants on Park Avenue in Rochester, NY. While these eateries are amazing year-round, there’s something about sitting outside on a warm summer or fall day and enjoying a yummy meal with friends or family. Let’s dive into some of my favorite options.
Sinbad’s
Sinbad’s is definitely a go-to choice for Mediterranean cuisine! They have delectable soups, salads, pasta dishes, pitas, kabobs, pizzas, and desserts. Their hummus is to die for!
Dorado
Dorado is one of Park Ave’s favorite restaurants serving all of your Latin favorites! From enchiladas to burritos to quesadillas to fajitas to chimichangas to shrimp and birria tacos, you’ll enjoy a mouth-watering meal. Not only this, but they have fantastic margaritas, with a specialty flavor each week! Enjoy happy hour margarita and beer prices from 3 PM - 6 PM Monday through Friday. This restaurant is small but mighty, having limited tables inside. But on a beautiful day, you can enjoy a yummy meal outdoors!
Vern’s
Vern’s is known for their variety of unique and tasty dishes. They offer a variety of pizzas, pastas, wood-grilled dishes, and delectable appetizers and salads. The food comes out as it’s ready, so this restaurant is ideal for families and groups willing to share and try new things! Accompany your meal with a fun cocktail or mocktail, natural wine, or a coffee drink.
Furoshiki
Furoshiki is a relaxed Asian-inspired eatery and bar with a calming atmosphere. Enjoy a shared plate, a ramen bowl, a Hibachi-inspired meal, or a salad or sandwich with friends or family alongside a beer, cocktail, or mocktail!
Roux
Roux serves both brunch and dinner! Enjoy a sweet or savory brunch meal or a French-inspired dinner. Try escargots, oyster chowder, steak frites, red curry ratatouille, and more. Accompany your meal with a tasty cocktail, a glass of wine, and a wonderful dessert.
Dragonfly
You may know Dragonfly as a bar, but they have some of the best slices of pizza. Enjoy a piece of cheesy pie after a drink!
