Fall Into Lala Love

Looking for a break from the ordinary? Shop locally at Lala’s in Webster! Lisa, the owner of Lala’s, started her store to help others. After her husband passed away in June 2015, Lisa dedicated her time to creating a business with a personal touch. Now approaching its third anniversary as well as the opening of its sister store “Whimsies!,” there is much to celebrate. Lala’s recently received the September Business of the Month award by the Webster Chamber of Commerce and continues to gain popularity and a steadfast following. Located on Main Street, Lala’s is a must-see when shopping on Rochester’s East Side.

Lala prides itself on offering a variety of health, wellness, and aromatherapy products to suit every customer’s unique needs. Whether you are buying a gift for someone else or pampering yourself, Lala’s offers everything under the sun when it comes to aromatherapy, including over 100 essential oil options. Relax and rewind with fragrant Northern Lights candles, bath salts, soaps, and lotions.

Comprised of three floors, Lala offers a women’s clothing boutique, gift store, and everything seasonal. Always quirky and unique, Lala’s top sellers continue to be their “crazy socks” and “real housewives towels.” Playing upon the reality television show, fans of the Real Housewives are now able to purchase kitchen towel collections aptly titled for their own Monroe County hometowns—and other counties. Her “crazy socks” take on an assortment of themes ranging from sports, food, golf, pizza, holiday, wedding, birthdays, and more.

“I love offering unique products to the customer, and I am always open to suggestions. If you are traveling and see something cool, send me an email or give me a call.”

Ever-expanding, Lisa now plans to open Lala’s sister store, “Whimsies!” in November. Whimsies! will provide customers with “vintage type candies,” like the old fashioned penny candy jars and other delectable treats. Customers will find a wonderful assortment of goodies that will put smiles on their faces. ”Because of this pandemic, I really feel like we need to reconnect with good times and things of the past. I am excited about Whimsies!”

Lisa shares a sentiment that is close to many American hearts. “I love to support local vendors. If someone has a product that I think is a good fit, I will always give it a try.” Post-pandemic, Lala’s continues to offer reasonable prices for their clientele. Her prices have continued to stay the same as they were Pre-Covid. In fact, seniors 65 and older enjoy 10% off Tuesdays, and you can receive 10% off during your birthday month!

Locally owned, uniquely designed, and always affordable, Lala’s offers an engaging customer experience like no other. With Small Business Saturday coming up on November 27th, consider shopping at Lala’s and giving back to your community. At least three times as much money stays in your community when you shop at locally owned businesses rather than big box stores. While online shopping is convenient, it can’t compete with the human component and the high-quality products sold by knowledgeable and friendly retailers like Lala’s.
