They wanted to create something bigger than themselves, an event for many local retailers. From this desire, the Boutique Crawl in Hamburg was born. This Friday, May 21st, enjoy a day in the village as you support your retail community. They can't wait to see you! “It’s always great to see everyone come out for The Boutique Crawl! Laughter, conversation, hustle and bustle enliven the village with a great sense of community,” says Lynn from Lodgical Country Store.
For creator Rachel, it was important to create something the community would be excited to show up for and participate in. Shopping small is SO important, more than just during the holidays (especially through this pandemic). The experience you get shopping locally can’t be rivaled, and the sponsorship you choose helps support your local businesses throughout this event. "Let’s keep a thriving community!"
Rachel started the Boutique Crawl in 2018 with just an inspiring idea. “This event means so much from me. It was something I created in 2018 with no clue how it would turn out; I poured months of work into pulling the very first one together,” she said. “This event was not only needed for the retailers but the community craved it, as well. I trusted in that idea so much that I fronted every cost for the initial event because I believed in it. I’m so grateful for its success and for all the local shops that took a leap with me by being involved from the very beginning!”
Now, in 2021, there are 24 Officially Participating Retailers and brand-new this season, 3 Official Pop Up Hosts and 9 Official Pop Ups artisans (check them out below)! The Pop Ups will be hosted at Village Yoga & Wellness, Kula Yoga, and Fattey Beer Co. Want additional perks? Each Officially Participating Retailer will be offering their own special Promotion throughout the day and a their own giveaway valued at $25+! That means, there is an opportunity to enter drawings totaling over $800!
Elizabeth Licata Cooke from the Village Yoga & Wellness can't wait! "The Boutique Crawl is an exciting way to showcase the work we have been busy doing in our studio. There are a lot of powerful female entrepreneurs doing beautiful work here. We are proud we have made it through this year, and we are eager for people to know what we can offer!" Village Yoga & Wellness at 141 Pine St. is thrilled to be an Official Host for the pop-ups.
The Boutique Crawl is taking place in the Village of Hamburg, this Friday, May 21st from 12 - 8pm.
